AFE Magnum Force Air Intake System

I am thinking about installing the AFE stage 2 intake system on my 06 but I have heard that there are code issues. Has this been resolved and has anyone had this issue?

I have not seen any of these cause codes,except when the key is left on during the install.

I don't have the AFE but there are no codes set by the cold air intake I am using. As near as I can tell, changing to such an intake really doesn't do a darn thing except increase noise levels anyway. The intake restriction doesn't lie in the airbox, it is in the stock intake horn. If you want performance and/or EGT reduction, I found a high flow intake horn WAY more effective than the cold air intake system.

I have one. It did not on installation nor does it now (after one year running) set any codes. As far as extra noise from the turbo - it is music to my ears. It makes non-understanding people you go by on the road think the truck is being powered by a turbine.

The only time a code will set, is if you forget to hook the map sensor up before starting the truck.
