It doesn't matter which airfilter you use, as long as your filterminder isn't moving your engine is getting all the air it can use.

Until your engine power modifications take you over a certain hp increase the stock filter will do just as well as any other.

Install the AFE last night at work (couldn't wait to get home to install it). EGTs are down about 50 degs empty maybe even alittle more. And if you don't mind hearing the turbo spooling up (sounds like its suck everything out of the glove box) no problems. Took about 10 minutes to install.

aFe MC ROCKS! Yes it is loud and if you really want it to sing, remove your turbo silencer ring



Did notice a drop in EGT's when towing, hard to say how much as I did the 4" freeflow exhaust at the same time.
