Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) afe pro 7 vs BHAF

ABout time for a replacement of my stock filter. Wondering if the afe por 7 from Geno's is worth the money. I'm not crazy about more turbo whine which I undestand I will get by switching to a BHAF. Basically I'm looking for better fuel economy not sure if either will help.

I don't think your going to see an MPG increase with either... . The BHAF is much less $$ and works good on a stock truck... I have one on mine and its not stock, it works well.

Either one will let you hear more turbo whine, but as long as you still have your silencer ring in the turbo, it won't be bad. The Afe intake kit will be a better "finished" product, but either one will flow enough air for your engine. You can also put an Afe replacement filter in the stock airbox, which will flow enough air for up to 500hp.
