AFE Pro Guard 7 kit for the 600...

Anybody used the kit made for the 600 yet? Geno's has them, part # 75-10631. I know the big difference from the 555 was the hood clearance. Curious if anybody has got this kit yet, and your impressions.

Mine should be here tomorrow. I let you know when I install it. I am a little disapointed that they increased the price compared to the 03-04 kits.

I put mine on about a week ago, fits pretty good, it does seem like they could have made it a little shorter, the hood insualtion really mashes in a good bit but if I need to change anything I'll wait till I get my SRT hood, I got one on order.

I put mone on last week along with there torque tube. I am with Gwoody on the on that they should have made it a little shorter. But all in all I am satisfied. EGT's are down and MPG and power are up.

Where did you guys get your AFE air intake from. ????

I've had mine on order from GENOS since June 30, I've been told they havent got them in yet ??????

I called Danny @800-832-8844 Precison Diesel they do have the AFE Pro-Guard 7 air intake for 2004. 5 Cummins 600 "IN STOCK" for $369. 95. However, GENOS advertises at 369. 95. But, GENOS does not have them yet... ... ... ... ... .

I put mine on today, box, filter and torque tube. The box could stand to be cut down about a 1/2" or so. My hood when shut is at a slight angle - approx a 1/4" higher on the filter side. Install was easy and straight forward. The sound is sweet. Sounds like a DC-10 on take off. Although I'll have to admit, the first time I was into heavy boost and let off, I thought I blew the turbo
