Tthat's the million dollar question, it has so much to do with where you live and how much junk is in the air. I usually do mine every 10-15,000 miles based on where I have been and what I have seen dirt wise. Sometimes just when I notice a MPG drop as I have usually let it go to long etc. Imagine that a guy that lets his maintenance go too far!!!
