Do the Torque tubes for the '03-'04 work with the '04. 5's ?

Does the Torque Tube go in place of the Baffle tube on the intake of the turbo on the 600?. Is this a way of removing the baffling? Does it have to be used in conjunction with a stage 1 kit or similar high flow system?

How about 2 4" 90 degree intake elbows, $12 each and 1 foot of aluminum intake $7, 2 clamps $2, your cost = $33. 00.



Since I wasn't sure what I'd need, I got 2 ft of tubing, 2 90 degree bends and 1 4" to 4" connector... I'll let you know what happens but from what a torque tube looks like the first parts list I gave off should be enough.

I can't say about that, someone with a Scooty will have to let us know if the Scotty outlet is close to the stock outlet. Then it should work but I don't have this info.

It replaces the complete intake tube from the air box to the turbo inlet. I can't think of a time when we didn't sell a Pro Guard 7 intake with the tube, it will probably work but I can't swear if it will or not.

It's kind of the "move the potaote" story. If you improve the intake and use the stock hose it's become the most restrictive part of the system, still an improvment over stock but the hose is the down side of the intake flow wise.

my lower 90 degree elbow has three baffels inserted. has anyone ever removed these as well? or do they help air flow inside the bend?

Why do you all like the torque tube so much... Your losing bottom end power... Doesnt make sense at all

Im going to make my own i accidently destroyed my stock one... . (golf ball size hole)

In theory the vanes in the elbow actually reduce the friction loss of the elbow, Unless you decide to go with a larger elbow (if one will fit) I would not suggest cutting out the vanes.

What is the basis for the statement that you "lose low end" with a TorqueTube ?

When I put mine on I couldn't tell I lost any low end.
