Thinking about getting some after market fog lights for my truck (see below). The bumper has the "cutouts" in it for the factory ones and there is even the factory plugs there too, LOL.

I'm pretty handy with stuff but think it may be easier for a kit vs collecting parts and figuring it out myself. I'll probably put in a painless aux fuse block too at the same time.

ANy suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

there are some kits on ebay that mount identical to the factory but how they wire i'm not sure. I have a set that should be here today since one of mine is broken.

I got the kit from dealer for the 99 I had, was about $158. 00 as I remember and came withe the new switch, relay and necessary wiring that was not already in truck. Also if you go that route, just dont connect the red wire and fog lights will work on dim and bright. bg

I have bought parts from LMC Truck Parts before. They ofetn supply the collision repair and owner market with decent quality, affordable oem style parts with good customer service. Here is the link for the oem fog lights for only $70, you can also buy yhe switch and relay from them for just a little more.

I've got the dash switch, but no wiring in the dash or behind the bumper.

I wish I could figure out how to rig a socket for the stock switch to work.

Other than that, I just mounted (4) 6x9 100 watt KC Daylighters above my bumper in line with the headlights.
