Yeah thanks Tim..... I think I'll pass for now, but If I change my mind you know you and the Boyz will be the first to know... :D

I have the AAR Fiberglass hood on my truck. It is the Cuda style hood. I will have to try to figure out how to post a picture. The quality is excellent.

-- email address removed -- This is Doug's e-mail address. He makes a fiberglass hood. The hood has two scoops on it. The one on the passenger side rams air into a custom air box, with lower EGT as a result. The other scoop dumps air to a shroud surrounding the up-pipe to your intake manifold. Very good workmanship from Idaho. Great guy to work with. Ask him for some pics!

Thanks Tracy- I 'm glad Doug found a good place to display his hood. Do you have one? I've got the Dam Air and really love it. Gotta talk the wife into the hood since they both feed the air box with pressurized cold air. Gotta do great things for the EGT!

Air Bulldog Hood

I just got mine installed today. It was the first one he had done in Graphite and it looks pretty sweet. If I can figure out how to put the pictures he took of it on here I will. They are up there in price but how can you put a price on cool. Not to mention, Doug is a he!! of a nice guy.

I have not yet been able to come up with the $$$$$$$$$. First saw the hoods a few years ago at MM. It was the first year Doug had made them. The wife thought they were cool looking and I probably let a great opportunity pass me by. :( :( :(

I just sprung for the Mallory S. S. mount and the BHAF. Maybe I should have saved my pennies and they would grow to $$$$$$$$$$$$.

I got my first look at Doug's Air Bulldog hood when I had a visit from a fellow Kentuckian, Mojo293. He has one, and man is it awesome. Great looks, great engineering, works as advertised. He's happy with it, and I can see why.

Cool and funtional

Larry,

Thanks for the kind words. I know it is an expensive option but for the '02 trucks the hood really quiets things down. The additional noise due to the lack of the hoodliner is all but gone. Now I can hear those Baja Claws howl. :D :D :D :D Atleast until the turbo and exhaust go on.
