Aftermarked wheels for 2001 ETH

Time to replace my OEM Michelins and am looking at a set of used Ultra wheels w/ BFG 295/75 tires. Previously mounted on a 2000 2500. I have a 2001 ETH and seem to remember a thread about pre-2001 factory wheels not fitting the 2001's due to different backspacing. Anyone know if the wheels and tires will fit or if not why?

Steve, hopefully someone will chime in here if I'm wrong, but if I remember right you should'nt have any problem with the swap. It's the 2001 wheels that have more of a backspace than earlier years and would cause trouble with drums I think. Going your way the wheels would just stick out a bit further than stock.

The factory wheels are the same on 2000 & 2001 2500's. Pre 2000 are different.
