Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) aftermarket alternator

I have a buddy with a 1999 and he is getting ready to put a alternator in it and asked what kind of aftermarket alternator should he consider for a up grade, let me know?

this says that it is for a ford, will it work in a 1999 CTD too?

Might have to fab up some brackets, but who cares? That thing sounds great doesn't it?

It sounds great but my buddy is into driving his CTD, not working on it, I think I would be the one doing the fab work. :--)

I have 'friends' like that, too.



Ther'es one on that site that is a direct bolt in for the Dodge CTD, only puts out around 250 amps, though.
