I've had BB1's in my truck for almost 20K now. My truck has never ran better. Just got home today from a 9500 mile trip my mileage over the whole trip is up .79 mpg. This is with my winter tires, horrible weather,ect....I'm very happy with them the torque from 1400rpm up is great. I got mine from Source Automotive in Clackamas Ore. Call and talk to Bill at 503 654 9004 I have no connection to them other then they have done work on my truck.

I have sold Gen New Bosch and Virgin NEW Bosch side by side for 5 years (2009) T&C sold its 1st set of CR injectors in Nov of 2003, 2009 was the 1st year I could even get Virgin New Bosch, the mortality failure rate is exactly the same, 1 Injector per XXX, That's our record, I have NEVER replace an entire set of unmolested Bosch Gen New or Virgin New under warranty, When Bosch (origin) injector fails it almost always immediately after install. At any given week I deal with injector failures with House remans or molested CR Injectors. I don't offer them do to the risk taken by selling them (Yes you make $$$ more selling House or molested Injectors).
Many things cause premature failure of CR injectors the most prevalent is water, filter ratings are extremely miss leading, I'm done commenting on the social network about the misleading's , All you get is some owner that owns 1 truck claiming how great this or that is, the facts are if these filter(s) did what they claim I and many others would be out of Injector business.

Their are solutions to filtration, I just will NOT discuss them on any Forum, You will need to call on that info.

I believe Bosch now has accumulate the necessary resources to ex-ray Injectors, I've seen the images they are unbelievable in detail.....

On my 04.5 H/O, I decided to change my injectors out as a just because. Was not having any issues with them at 119360 on the odometer. Put in some new, stainless body 60hp extrude honed units from Industrial Injection. At 141k on the odometer, its running very rough. Sent them in to get checked out and was told the units were worn out due to fuel cleanliness. I paid up so they could send them back to me after they re-built them, but I spent the rest of the day pondering. From the time the truck was new till 125514 on the odometer, I have used the 7 micron Fleetguard filter in the oe housing. My change intervals have been at 10k since it was new. This is also when I change the oil, 5-30 Amsoil, both the standard and bypass filters, again Amsoil, and rotate the six wheels and tires. To me, fluid and filters are cheap insurance. At 125514, I put the Airdog 2 micron unit on and its been that way since with regular filter changes. Now, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I also didn't just fall off the turnip truck. If there is an issue on my end, I want to fix it so this doesn't happen again. However, I think that the replacement injectors should have lasted as long if not longer than the oe units. I'm not pointing any fingers but really want to know if its a part/qc issue or me. What are your thoughts my diesel brethren???

327,160 now. OEM injectors and fuel system. G.D.P 2mic using Baldwin filters for the OEM canister too. Oil and fuel filter changes every 10 -15K and 8oz. of Stanadyne in every fill up.

I'm amazed at how many people are doing various kinds or engine, transmission and related rebuilds with FAR less miles than I have on mine from reading all the different posts over the years here. I've had bad things happen to my truck, poor design etc. But the one thing I have been lucky to have thus far is, my Cummin's is still going without dumping parts into it other than a water pump, Alternator and belt.

I know they are coming Turbo and injectors pretty soon, one reason I am back into reading all the various posts to see what others are installing and how well their "fixes and upgrades" are holding out.

After seeing another post on fuel filtration issues leading to failures like mine plus someone asked what filters are on my Airpooch. The units currently on the unit are FF100-2 & WS100. I thought that when you added the new lift pumps like the Pooch and FASS that they automatically had better filtration than stock. Looks like I was mistaken.

You are correct, One of the most important things to remember about filtration is at what % is going to make it thru the filter (If I ever get contaminate fuel)... all it takes is 30 Gallons of fuel with 1 table spoon of hard material to cut injector life by 50%, now remember you cannot separate the water in todays fuel 100% without using aqua-zorb or equivalent. water is so darn corrosive to polish steel that moves between to hard surfaces with require specs of 1millionth, its like a file.
