Does anyone out there in truck land know where I can purchase either a disc brake kit or a better drum brake system for the rear of my pickup?

------------------
96,2WD 3/4t ext. cab-DC,just added DTT torque convertor with valve body, tst #4,full pillar guages,5th wheel setup
wanting to add 2-3 lift, and rig style volosity stacks. Dynoed Horse power?

I to would like to put disk brakes on the rear wheels of a 96-2500 4/4. Is it a good idea? Where can I get parts? Who out there has done this and what was the outcome?

Thanks

I may be misquoting, but this came up a long time ago, and somebody suggested that for the re-working that would be needed, an exhaust brake would be more cost effective.
Search the archives, probably in "products/accessories" or maybe "2nd generation, no engine or drivetrain"

this situation also may have changed.
