Hey guys - I've been toying around with replacing my steering wheel with a custom unit from Colorado Custom or Billet Specialties. But I'm kind of stumped as to what to do with the cruise control. They're all run into the steering wheel so I would lose it if I got another wheel.

Any ideas on where to relocate this? Could I buy one of those aftermarket cruise control modules and just wire it in to that? I don't want it to look cheap and it would be nice to have as much of a "factory" look as possible.

Am I getting into something that I really don't need to be messing with? I can handle simple wiring jobs but I get kind of antsy with anything complicated.

Also, what about the airbag system? Is it a big deal to remove this from the vehicle? I'm probably violating some federal law or the terms of my insurance policy or something, but we'll deal with that later. ;)

Any thoughts?
