Funny sign of the day Thursday

Yep the move is allmost complete , and I am cummin' back to the TDR at a WHOPPING 2. 8 GHZ hopefully by the end of this week Oo. Then the turbos fly in / out of the rig on sunday , getting me to and from home a bit faster to use it. ..... Dude I got a Dell :D

Probably be the next one I buy. Tried supporting Compaq. Don't care about them people in Californey. I understand Dell is building in Mexico now.

Will the last person with a job in the USA pleas turn out the lights.

After having three Compaq's that were always having problems i went to a Dell. This is my second Dell and i have NEVER had any problems of any kind. They are the only computer i will ever buy.

Well, wish I could say the same about my Dell laptop. I have a "Inspiron 2500" the company bought for me to use on the road. It is a POS! It is always locking up. When I say that I mean totally. Nothing works and I have to turn it off completely with the main switch. Have even had to pull the batteries a few times because the on/off switch wouldn't turn it off. (This gives new meaning to the phrase"save and save often"!)

I had the same problem with my old IBM laptop and I suspect it is at least partially due to the fact that I have a lot of static electricity in my body. I've even locked up a IBM desktop when I touched it once.

Any one else have this problem?

Stan

Bummer, Stan... . they do make grounding straps for that kinda thing, did ya know? Straps onto your wrist. At 3M, we call it "walking the dog" ... :D :D Explosive atmosphere, they're really uptight about static here. :D

Dell is nice, but they ain't troublefree. My buddy has a new Dell, it keeps crashing... tech service has been helping him for a month.

Wahoo well the ComPaqter Presario 1690 is up and on the network (Virtualy being the Dell and Viao are not even here yet) and man with the new config this thing screams (never config'd to broadband / network efficiency) ... . I CAN POST AGAIN Oo.
