Ok guys instead of a new truck its outfit this one!:{ Where have all you air bag users mounted the compressor? Underhood? I still want to leave room for some h2o injection for cooling so space is getting cramped. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Robert

You can mount it where the electric horn is located and move the electric horns higher. I have a Scotty II and mounted the air tank usuing L-brackets and the stock bolts from the factory air cleaner housing.

I have the Firestone airbags minus the air pump. If you never had air bags before your going to love them. I can put at least 3250 lbs in my truck plus pull a trailer with 95 psi in the bags with no sagging. I recommend replacing the factory mounting bolts with grade 8 bolts. I kept breaking the factory bolts that were not hardened steel.

Wiredawg, thanks for the tip I took a look tonight and it looks like the ticket:) Still plenty of room for another pump for the water.

DPrew, good tip also I only want to do this once. You go along with others that I found in my search on having to replace them later. And no more getting bright light abuse when towing at night.

Thanks guys
