The Air Bag Light Stays On. No Warning Sounds. I Have Removed The Plug On The Air Bag Control Module, And The Connections Are Clean. I Did A Search I Found That The Clock Spring Could Be The Problem. The Cruise Control And Radio Controls Are All Operational. Could The Clock Spring Be The Problem, Even Though It Is Not Broken. I Hope This Is The Problem And Not The Control Module. The Dealer Wants Over $700. 00 To Test And Replace The Control Module. Thanks For Any Assistance. Paul

I had the same thing with my truck and I put a new clock spring in to it and it work. the spring was onlt $60. 00 and it was the problem.

The connection to your air bag can go, with or without the horn and cruise being affected.
Last time I replaced mine, Rock Auto had them for like $38, p/n Dorman 525-103.

Thanks For The Replays. I Will Replace The Clockspring And Hope That Is The Problem. I Checked Auto Rock And Auto Zone And They Both Do Not Have The Clockspring With The Radio Controls. Do You Know Who May Have The Clockspring I Need? The Dealer Is A Last Resort. Paul

Mine doesn't have the radio controls on the wheel, so I'm not sure... .
Some of the other clockspring threads might have the right part number/source.

I Have Installed A New Clockspring, And The Air Bag Light Is Still On. Has Anyone Needed To Replace The Air Bag Control Module? Could There Be Another Problem? Paul
