I saw a show (2 Guys Garage, I think) a little while ago wher they installed an Airbag Suspension on a RAM. Does anybody know who makes them, and how much they are?

I check them out. What I remember is a cross between the two. But the Kelderman was the closest. I think it was the lift kit that was installed with a remote control. THe Truck could be lowered or raised with a remote and the ride could be adjusted on the fly.

The show I watched was Extreme 4x4 and they had the Blue Dodge with the Hemi. They added the air suspention that went from 5" to 13" lift, it was made by KeldermanMFG

? T-Rex

Anybody know if the cheaper T-REX Suspension (what would you call that: a strut, or an individual instant suspension) includes some lift with it, or would that be more equipment and more money??

I want to put 22. 5s on, but I believe you would need a little lift. Anybody know for sure if you do (need lift?) in order to accomodate the 22. 5s (wheel and tires)? I think that T-Rex may be a superior suspension. (Than the kelderman suspension) It looks like the T-Rex has quite a bit of knowledge about suspensions just by looking at the trucks in action (on their PR stuff)

Does anyone have any opinions on that??

22. 5s are awful big (36. 7" to 42" tall), I would suggest a set of 19. 5s.

Try: http://www.brentz.net

I love this one: http://www.brentz.net/images/ben1.jpg

This tire/wheel combo looks balanced to me.

This Michelin XZA would work in either a 17. 5 or a 19. 5 without lifting your truck.

http://www.michelintruck.com/michelintruck/productguide/newprod/TireSpecs. jsp?tread=XZA+%282%29

The 10R17. 5 weighs 69# is 33. 9" tall and is rated for 4805 single & 4540 dual.

The 8R19. 5 weighs 52# is 33. 6" tall and is rated for 3525# single & 3305 dual.

While my stock 235/80/17 weighs 46# is 31. 8" tall and is rated for 3085#.

The XZE 255/70R22. 5 weighs 96# is 36. 7" tall and is rated for 5510# single & 5070# dual.

Imagine adding 50# to each front wheel:rolleyes: or 100# to each side of the duals:--)

I would get excited if they came out with a super single in 17. 5 or 19. 5 like this 445/50R22. 5:

Actually, Kelderman's is putting those 22. 5s on our trucks. They do look great.

(I can get them at a discount because I buy them in lots of 8 for my 2 big trucks (and Reefer trlrs) and my Dump Truck. )

But I appreciate your comeback (been too darn busy to answer), and I appreciate those Michelins also.
