I'm going to get a set of bags for my 1st gen D250. Anyone know which is better,Hellwig or Firestone? Can save some $ with the Hellwigs. Thanks

Ive had Firestones on 4 trucks now to date, the latest is my 98 cummins. The price isnt that bad and they stand behind their warranty, unlike Chrysler... Yet, Ive never had so much as a leak

I've had one set Air Lifts on two trks. now, over 400K, never a leak.

I bought the Air Lift's. The kit was very complete and at least on my truck I was able to keep the overloads. Check with Camping World for prices.

Just installed Airlifts on my truck last night, the kit was very complete and no leaks yet. I had to remove my overloads to get enough room for the bags, I bought shorter u bolts from Advantage Dodge for a good price and everything swapped right in. I'm looking to put an onboard compressor in my truck with small industrial air solinoids I found to run the airlifts, my rancho 9000's some real horns and an air outlet. Anyone have a favorite quality compressor?

I have a set of Helwigs on my '96 gasser Ram and Air Lifts on my 2000. Both are great! Both had very good instructions and everthing installed/fit as advertised (well engineered). I was happy that I could keep my stock overloads with the airbags on my 2000... kind of an extra level of security.
