Has anyone put Firestones ( or similar) over their leafs Yet? I want to put a set on mine, 3500 which of course has the overloads, because at about 1200 - 1400 lbs I get a slapping jolt running down the road when the overloads hit the stops. More weight and it sits on the overloads and its ok.

I still want the overloads on but I'd like them to be off the stops and keep the truck from squatting as much under load. In fact I'd like to just keep it level with the lifted front end under most all load conditions. It does squat more than my '01 2500 with the overloads did.

I had Air Springs on my 98 and am going to try the Timbrens on my '03. Should have them on this week along with my PullRite 20,500 Super Five.

TWO WAYS TO GO. THE AIR BAGS OFF MY '99 WILL FIT, THEY ARE AIR LIFT FROM CAMPING WORLD. I HAVE AN '03 DUALLY. ALSO YOU CAN ADD A SPACER TO RAISE THE OVER LOAD SPRINGS, YOU'LL BE ABOVE THE SLAP. TBOB

Actually I was thinking about adding a spacer over the bump stops so the overloads touch with basic load, but that would stiffen the suspension too much.

I like the soft ride under load that the air gives without having to rely on the overloads and the adjustability to level out the truck under different conditions.
