I have not heard it mentioned on here in awhile and i did a serch and i couldnt find it either. Is this hood still made and if so, where do i look for it?. Anybody have one?, any complaints?

I know they're made by Doug Hofeldt of Pocatello, Idaho. They're very nice, high quality. KatDiesel has one, so does a local friend of mine, a fellow TDR member, Mojo293. So I've had a close look at it. Maybe Kat will chime in here, with contact info...

I have the first production Air Bulldog induction hood with the (side) NACA ducts. I have had this hood on my Ram for over two years now. I still love it as much now as the day I picked it up at Doug's shop! ( :D )

Anyway, Doug is still producing the Air Bulldog induction hood as well as the Dam Air, air dam. Doug can be reached at:

(208) 232-2469 (a *82 prefix is required if you have a blocked number)

or at: -- email address removed --

BTW, Doug is one of the very best vendors I have delt with since purchasing all my numerous turbo Diesel accessories! In fact, he is constructing something for me right now! :D

I have one too....

and basically what John said. You wont find a nicer guy around. They aren't cheap but for functionality, looks :--) and quality I doubt you'll find a better one.

:D Nathan, I'm surprised you didn't get your hood (and the rest of your Ram for that matter) painted camoflauge to match your three seat covers!  (Nathan's a big time hunter!)

Well I thought about it but.......

it would take money away from the cool go fast things and those trick mods I need to try and catch you John :D . Plus it might look kinda tacky on a 2002 truck with 7k miles. I have looked at all the aftermarket camo stuff they have now and it is just too much. Plus this way maybe all the critters will just think I'm a city slicker and not pay any attention to me, at least until those copper or lead things start flying. :D

Doug is a real gentleman and his products are the highest quality. I have the Bulldog hood and Dam Air on my 94. Gets alot of looks and best of all the induction system really works. For me,it was well worth the money.

Thanks for the info, i am thinking about changing over to a new hood. Either that or transmission upgrades. The thing is i dont tow and dont plan to but i would like to do injectors. So many things to buy and not enough money or time.

Air bulldog hoods are nice and functional, and are a little expensive. However the other day I saw a Ram with a beautiful cowl induction hood that just blew me away. It had a rise of about 3 inches sloped going from front to back. Man it looked good. Like the cowl induction hoods on the 60's Camaros. Any one know where to get these? They also should be cheaper. I want one,I don't really care if it works, but looks bada$$.

Reflexxion sells the cowl induction hoods. They are steel, look nice, and are NOT FUNCTIONAL.

Up here in the Northwest, they are becoming a dime a dozen! Unique?

The Air Bulldog hood has 'em all beat by a long shot! EXTREMELY unique, functional and a REAL attention getter! :D

The only Rams the Air Bulldog induction hood will adapt to is a '94 through '02 CUMMINS powered Ram... that's pretty darn exclusive.
