Air comes from dash vents only

Howdy folks,

I have just noticed that when I select/turn to direct air to my windshield defroster it all still comes out of the fwd vents. It is not being redirected. Has anyone ever experieinced this before?

Oh yea, very common. Its the door inside the HVAC unit under the dash. It breaks... heres a write up of removal and shows what parts are damaged (give it a sec to load up)

Run search on "blend door" and you will see many posts. I believe there is a TSB on this for the '03, should be covered as a warranty item.

I thought I saw something about that is the last issue of TDR with the TSB information. I will call the Dodge Service department in San Diego and see what they say. Many thanks and HAppy Holiday!!
