Does anyone know what type of 12v motor that will hook up to a york A/C compressor? I am trying to make a 12v air compressor since the 2003 ram has no room to hook it up to the motor.

When you say "hook it up to the motor," I assume you mean a belt driven air compressor as opposed to the electric. The last I knew Kilby Enterprises was working on a kit for the 03-04. They already have one for the 98. 5-02 24v. You might give them a call and see where that stands unless you know something we don't.

Check out the link below if that is what you are attempting to do you might give them a call and just ask what type of motor they are using. That thing puts out some serious cfm and uses some serious amps.

I second the oasis compressor, very impressive little thing. I was trying to figure out how a guy could maintain A/C and have some sort of bypass to get the compressor benefit as well. Just couldn't figure out how to do it without filling the tires with that expensive A/C coolant .

I have Kilby's Onboard air on my 01. It is great. Like Jeff Clark said he was working on a kit for the Gen 3's. Give him a call.
