Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) air condition problems

I have a 2002 24 valve deasel when using the air conditioner and then trying go to just out side air the air condition will not switch over unless I shut the whole thing off for at least five minutes then the out side air will work just fine. any body have this problem or know how to fix. H. J. C.

check your vacum lines going to the cab. It sounds like you may have a leak in one of them.
