2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Air Conditioner Not Cooling

A/Cond keeps loosing freon - Had an auto repair shop re-charge - they put in dye, have added freon twice, but they still cant find leak.



Their next step is replace evap core. $$ ?? Need some opinions

No A/C?

I thought I was loosing it also but spend the money for a set of gauges from Harbor Frieght on sale can get for 39. 00 and read this site Aircondition. Com: Automotive A/C - Tech Articles and FAQ's - Troubleshooting with Gauges FAQ I found your system have to push though the low to the high to having the A/C work correctly.

I know your problem is a leak but I want to say that any air cond that pumps freon is not designed to cool anything. They only move heat. Make sure your condensor is very clean after fixing the leak.
