TMax, its a product by Solar Gaurd, there website is solargard.com. It's the ultra-perfomance 75 film. If you get a prescription from your doctor its legal. It's clear though so I don't think anyone will notice. It was installed by a local tint shop that was highly recommended.

it would only be illegal if a cop noticed it, which by the description of it sounds unlikely, I have always wondered how tenting the front windshield would work, I think even as low as 50% would prolly work and cut down a bunch of sun getting in.

Cummins Cowboy, they offer the same film I got in a 50% as well, and its supposed to block out another 10-20% of the solar heat. I don't see great at night anyway so I opted for the 75.

Great Ideas!

Great ideas everyone. I had wondered if that UV blocking tint would work. I think that I will give that a try.

I thought that I had read on TDR somewhere of someone replacing the evaporator with a larger (or was it more efficient) evaporator. That is what I was fishing for here.

Also, I don't know if the relocation of the sensor (what post was that?!) would benefit my year or not.

I have had the blend door housing replaced under warranty and my refrigerant is all topped up.

Of course my truck being black in color sure doesn't help much! :-laf

For as long as I have had my truck, the A/C vents on the passenger side have always run about 10 degrees warmer than the drivers side. Would the above mentioned sensor or blend door have anything to do with this?

Sensor no. Blend door maybe and low freon maybe. Just a LITTLE low affects pass side first. STAR(engineering) says 10 degrees differance is normal but if and when my system works correctly its only about a 3 to 5 degree difference. Think they say that to cover their butt.

So would moving my sensor be beneficial on this year?

Is there no after market evaporator that would improve this problem?
