Anyone have a front air dam they'd like to get rid of for a fair price? Mine didn't have one when I got it. It's needs to be in real good condition - drop me a note.

Also, Thanks to those whom helped with the difficult task of getting the drums off. Man, they were really on there. I tried the old fashioned way 5# hand sledge, nothin' happenin', 10# long handle:eek: same results with an added unexpected treat, nicked 3 studs. Figured I'd better stop before I loose a drum. So at the suggestion of "illflem" (I think) or EMDDIESEL (it was late and man I was beat! I know I was getting help from both of you that night - thanks!) I set the rear on stands and just to be safe I hand threaded 2 nuts almost down to the drums on each side. Had the wife start it up :D and w/foot on brake pedal go to reverse "BAM!" the passenger side freed up:D then a few more times between rev & drive "POP" the driver side broke loose:cool: You should have seen the look on wife's face when the first one let loose '' definitly a Kodack moment :D

After I de-adjusted the shoes I was able to get the drums off and see what I had suspected (due to high pedal when I purchased) Yep! the *%^#%! dealer had tightened them up so much that I burned a set of perfectly good shoes up in only 3,000 miles, heat cracked thru & thru both sides both shoes. Never ceases to amaze, me butt ho$$$! So I had the drums cut and picked up some new shoes! Better to find out now then on the way down the Black Hills of SD or down from Yellowstone next Wed/Thurs on the "Go West Young Man" 2 week trip. OK well I'm still young at heart - ain't we all?

Thanks - This site is great:cool: :D

Talk to Mactruck about the airdam, when we put his Denver Offroad bumper on he had no use for his stock bumper and airdam. He may still have it.

EDM, where is a good place to get the Denver Bumpers and find prices. I have look at their web page and saw no prices.

Thanks,

Ron

Sorry, I Sold my stock bumper w/ airdam to a friend of CPFF's. However he was not going to use the airdam because he had a plow. Email CPFF and see if his friend will part with it.

Rono, You'll have to call Layne at Denver offroad to get prices. It is around $1400. and I think it's worth it

I bought an air dam from a shop here in town. I think it is an aftermarket piece, but I cannot tell a difference in appearance or installation.

I paid $32. I can get you their number if you like. I'm sure they would ship one to you.

BTW this was for my 96.
