In case you haven't heard, I'm making polished stainless plates that will bolt onto the factory (black plastic) air dam. They dress-up the truck nicely and will make it real easy to spot fellow TDR members coming down the road. Great investment at only $40. 00 ea. (plus shipping)

I should have an extra $40 (not that there is such a thing as extra $$$, especially this time of the year) for one of these, but sometimes BOMBing $$$ just develops out of thin air (or is it thin plastic ? ). The credit card company needs to stop sending me these checks to use

Did you decide to make the ones for factory tow hooks, and no lights? If so I am interested I'll wait to see if I get an answer then I'll PM you. Thanks and good luck with this, looks real nice.

Tow Hooks - YES

Tow hooks ARE an option.



However, I'm not initially offering them with the additional holes for driving/fog lights. It sounds like space is pretty tight for the lights, due to the bracketry of the tow hooks. Also, I think the plate begins to look too "busy" and draws too much attention (I want to keep it subtle). I am still open to opinions, though. Let me know.



The section above the cut-out gets pretty thin. I am a bit unsure how the metal will act when bent around the curve of the dam. I am making some more prototypes this week. If all goes well (& I'm 98% sure it will), they will be fine to ship with the rest.

Need Factory Air Dam

Sorry, These need to mount onto the black plastic one. I wanted to keep them simple (cheap) so most members would afford one.



New plastic dams can be purchased fairly cheaply. I've heard as much as $45 from a stealer, but I have also heard others get them from a truck parts shop that are exactly the same part for around $30.
