Guys i always used holley in the past i just had a bad experience about 6 years ago where i bought a blue and it started to leak everywhere from a tiny hole in the housing after three weeks, then i bought another one and same exact thing happened only 2 months later this time. Also their warranty procedure is a total hassle. I've used and still am using all the ones i mentioned above with no issues yet over 5 years. Just my experience.

I was checking ou the Holley black pump and Sumitt racing says it's alright to run the black pump with diesel, As long as it does not have Bio-diesel in it, says Bio-diesel will eat the seals up, Monte

Thats exactly what i was told. But since you have the blue pump why buy another? Just use it until it goes. There is evidence of other people using the blue pump for 4 or more years with no issues.

Found a guy on CL that has a FASS pump and motor for 200 bucks, need to contact him and see exactly what the ratings are on it, think i can pick it up for around 150, Monte

I had the issue with the fuzes blowing, found AirDog pump to be seized. Called Pure Flow, gave them my serial number, yes I filled out the warranty card. Had system in place for a year, about 10,000 miles on it. Any way, they sent me a new motor with install instructions. New motor is quite. Old one always buzzed and whined since new, was it bad all along? I see 17-18 psi on my fuel gauge which is tapped into feedline just before CP3 pump. With it being 6 degrees the other morning, never even had a hiccup. I'm sure the other systems and pumps work well, I can and will say, Pure Flow stood by their product with excellent customer service. I believe the rep's name I spoke with was Kyle.

Honestly I dont have anything bad to say about them it is my fault I didnt send back my warranty and im stuck paying for the motor now. But it does seem like they are having a lot of issues with the same problem you and I explained. Also the new motor you received and everyone else with this issue seems to be okay as 8 havent found any threads on anyone having the issue again after installing the new motor. I have friends with the AD 1 unit and no issues for 6 years. They are great pumps but I do think that the AD 2 motor fails prematurely and they obviously know it and repaired the problem on the new motor they're sending out. With that being said should I be paying full price to replace my prematurely failed motor?
