I started looking at new lift pumps (I have 4 psi at part throttle now:eek:) and I have looked at GDP, FASS, and Air Dog.

My question is I can run the Air Dog using stock fuel lines and I would like to keep the stock fuel filter housing as the fuel heater. With the stock fuel pump removed how do I connect my new fuel lines to the stock filter housing???

Pricing :

GDP $620

Air Dog $499

FASS $600

I have used the Walbro system that GDP uses and I am currently running the Air Dog. I am very happy with both. They have both supplied me with all the fuel I need. :D

Are you guys running the fuel through the stock filter housing???

If yes, how did you connect the fuel line. . Remember I have an 03 with the pump mounted to the filter.

With Richards GDP system, you get a billet aluminum adapter that fits right on the back of your fuel canister. A complete kit with all the right parts. It took me about two hours to install, and I'm old and slow. :)

I just purchaed an Air Dog for my 12valve repower. The tech guy was very helpful and answered all my questions. ( and I had lots ). Shadrach

Air Dog has a fitting to get you on the stock fuel filter with their fuel line kit. You will have to use their line kit to do the install. I have the AirDog, am very happy with it.

I had a Fass on my 99, worked fine. BUT there customer service blows and they have no tech support. All they do is refer you to a dealer. If I was to buy another I would try Air Dog simply because of the poor service I got.

Howdy Morse, it appears you're running a stock rig... . did you notice an improvement in truck performance when you changed to the Air Dog system???

i installed the air-dog 150 and it really lived up to the advertising of a better or quicher trottle response (stock)it also reacted well w/ bank 6-gun . all the lines, filters, hardware and directions were incl. not to mention you "cut-out" the factory fuel/water separator and fuel lines. solid kit w/ good custamer service--tobyt

The FASS was one of the best improvements I did on my stocker...

Top end pulls harder (seat of pants, it pulls hard right to redline in 6th) and mileage is increased slightly (I would guess around 0. 5 mpg)...

The one and only thing I don't like is the fact there is no provision for a water-in-fuel light...

I would definitely do it again...
