Air Dog Install Questions

Anyones pump loud? I have the AD150. it will be super quiet for a while, i mean i have to get under the truck right next to the pump to hear it and then the pump will get very loud, when it dose i can hear it inside the cab with the radio on!

When i started the truck today it was quiet for about 15mins and then right back to bein loud again!

I checked all my connections and i have no leaks or anything! Im gettin very fustrated with this, i bought this pump thinkin it was gonna be super quiet and now most of the time have a loud hummin noise in the cab.

Anyone else have a loud pump or ideas of what might be goin on?

BSwope - I have the FP-100 so it may not be the same. I have only had it in for little over a week and is very quite all the time except after first install before getting everything all primed and going. Guessing here for sure but your noise sure sounds like your sucking air someplace before the pump. Could it be the fuel or screen cartridges are not tight?

SShafranko - After my weekend trip the pressure seems to be steady at 14 idle and around 16 in cruise. I think I will not mess with pressure right now. As I change some more things like installing RV275's next and then going to the Quad-Adrenaline I'll keep watch on fuel pressure and adjust as necessary.
