I ordered an Air Dog today. During my searches here, I've learned that a shutoff valve of some sort is recommended for lift pump relocation jobs to make future pump replacements that much easier.

I'm wondering if it's a good idea for an Air Dog setup, as in, changing the filters etc.

Thanks!

I did not install a shut-off but then I have not had on long enough to change the filter either. From what I read don't need to change the LP as hopefully it will be my last one. If not will have to pinch the fuel line from tank or some have diesel deodorant like none of has had that happen before.

That's exactly why I went this route, the hope that I'll never have to play with an LP again. Just curious though what happens when filter changin' time comes along.

I did not pinch off the line when I changed my filter and got a good shower of diesel. Have the new filter ready to put on is all I can say. :-laf
