Air Dog pump filter, how many miles per ?

Just had an Air Dog fuel pump installed, it has the 7 micron filter, how long do you all run those ? I was changing the stock filter every 10 thousand miles, I think those are usually 10 microns. Anyone using a Fleetguard for these ? Got the number handy ? Truck seems a tad stronger, but I guess I want to believe I made an improvement, too. It does seem to pull better going up over bridges ( we don't do hills here in the lowcountry. )

Fleetguard #'s are FF5617-10micron,FF5613-3/5micron,FF5587-7 micron. I run the 5613 all year long with no problems---hope this helps. PS i change the filters every 2 years regardless of miles,and the owner inventor of the Airdog runs his until he see a significant pressure drop on the gauge.

Mercy, I never would have thought you could run that tight a filter that long. Thanks very much for the info- Steve
