Anyone notice corrosion on the top and inside of their air dog fuel filter when changing it. I changed mine today and noticed it as well as corrosion on the tube that runs down the housing of the unit.

I have a FASS and notice that when I drain the separator it will come out rusty, so I don't doubt the inside of the filter is rusted... haven't changed filters out yet, so I don't know what the other filter looks like... I even run a lot of fuel additive to keep water at a minimum...

I drained some out of my water filter and there was no sign of water. I've used howells and primrose before changing from the stock system.

Yeah, I only ever get a couple beads of water out at the most (most of the time it is just dirt/sediment)... I run Howe's or Lucas, but mainly Howe's.
