Germ, I have not seen anything in the EVIC either. I go by the 15K rule, or at least with previous Cummins.( I'm on my 5th one now) When I change the fuel filters, so goes the air filter. I do check when I change the oil 7500-9K miles just to make sure its not to nasty. I have found the filter to be moderately dirty at 10K. I used to use a K&N but not anymore. So its a new one every 15K at least, if not sooner.

My 13 pumps out more HP and trq then any previous Cummins I've had, stock no less. I try to take good care of her.

Changing an air filter too often is not a good thing, a dirty filter with no flow restriction will provide cleaner air then a new filter.

Jacknife, usually when I change mine around 15K, it has its fair share of bugs, road grime, leaves etc in it.
