Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) air filter minder

Can someone tell me if there is a trick to resetting the air filter minder ? Its only been a few weeks ago that I put in a new filter. And probably not more than a couple of hundred miles at most. But the yellow disc in the air minder is half way down. When I press on the top, nothing happens.

I replaced my stock filter with an AFE Stage II and put my filter-minder in storage. Sounds like you have a defective one. If you stick with stock, just check the filter periodically.
