The quick answer is that the Mopar filters ARE Fleetguard products. They are just rebadged/repainted Fleetguard products.



The only difference is that you save money when you buy Fleetguard in my experience. If you are buying your filters from Dodge, you are wasting your own money.

I'll second that. Fleetguard makes the products for Mopar. Your Mopar oil filter is just a rebadged Fleetguard basic cellulose core oil filter, not a Stratopore. Same goes for Mopar air filters. Dealers just seem to charge more because it says MOPAR on it.
