air filter

I put in a new air filter because the EVIC said to service it.
Well put in the new one and when you accelerate a little hard
the message come on. Shut the truck off and all is well until
you goose it and - ding, service air filter.
It also happens a lot in rainy or snowy weather.
Last winter while in a heavy snow the filter was froze solid.
Any ideas?

Once the filter gets wet-throw it away.Also check the tube above the right fender liner it can collapse also if it has gotten wet or may have picked up some debris plugging it

Did you use FleetGuard of Mopar filter?

One of the codes that my truck threw had to deal with servicing the Ram air box. Seems there are some software issues hence a new re-flash See the thread I started on here "MIL lamp, Codes codes an more codes for the TSB and what it covers.

I'm asking what could be wrong when a new air filter is installed and the service air filter message comes on?
Fram and Mopar filters.
Bob, what tube?? Had a deer crash on the right front, air box and it goes into the inner fender.
If a part is missing can you give me a number, as I'm fighting bump shop to correct the repairs
and replace ALL the missing pieces and parts

Yelp check the tube inside the inner fender i bet it has collapsed

I always say "what did we do to break it" and in this case the deer repair might be a good clue

This was happening before the deer.
