air filter

I want to get a stand by air filter before I leave on a trip in a few days. I dont have time to order in a fleetguard, which is what I normally use. Is napa gold still considered a good filter for the 2nd gen trucks ?

Why not stop in at your local Ram dealer for a Mopar filter. That is what I run in my truck but I order them from Geno's Garage.

Napa Gold = Wix...good enough. I've been running a Wix for years (haven't changed it), silicon numbers are always low so I leave it alone.

If this is for a stock airbox then any filter will be fine... The stock airboxes are notorious for leaks around the filter and/or cracking from heat which all makes the filter quality mute. But if its still intact then great, and I dont think I'd care too much what filter it is as long as its not a K&N.
