Was wondering if any of you guys are running the JRE cold air intake system. I've heard a lot about the pyscotty system. What do you guys recommend?

Had it (JRE Kit) for bout a month installed on my truck. Worked great, sounded even better. When I went to my AirBullDog hood I had to remove it. Floor It now has it installed on his truck... . maybe he will post some feedback since hes had it for a couple of days now. I can't really comment on temps or anything, I did too many things at once. Sure did look nice when ya opened the hood tho. I have no personal experience with the Pyschotty system to comment on.

BHAF is a cheaper alternative....

Got one on mine and it looks great and performs outstanding. For $34 bucks verse the price of the other set ups it was the way to go for me. Search for the big honkin air filter thread for more info.

I like mine....

Only difference is that I have the K&N prefilter... 25-0880... too. I don't drive in dusty conditions which is what they are basically designed for, but I use it because it doesn't restrict air flow more than ~2-4% and it is so much easier to clean and service than the RE-0880. I've got 20K on this system. Just cleaned and reoiled the prefilter, not because it was very dirty, but it had lost it's oiled touch. The RE still looks brand new. I doubt I'll ever have to service the RE.

JRE..

I have this set-up. At first all I had was the RE-0880 & 25-0080, this worked great over the stock set up. I had the turbo spool up quicker and reduce EGTs by 100-150 degrees. I installed the JRE SS heat shield and I noticed my cool down was cut in half. With my Piers Super Turbo and 14cm2 housing my exhaust temps cool dowm even faster. Sam
