I just changed my oil for the second time at 7k miles (first at 3k) and the air filter had to be replaced. There was literally nothing white left on it! Anyway, the dealer charged $44 for the filter. That's going to get quite expensive changing the filter every second oil change or so.

I remember reading somewhere that Cummins suggests just paper filters. There has to be a cheaper solution somewhere.

Ideas?

No, I don't have pictures. The blue was all they had when I bought my truck so that's what I bought. Had it been red I probably would not have bought it though. I like red, just not on vehicles. Well, actually, it's that my wife doesn't like red vehicles!

I'm assuming the two previous posts mention systems that would increase the noise from the engine. I'm not sure I want more noise, especially a 757 at takeoff.

"ladies and gentlemen, please make sure your seatbelts are tightened and all tray tables and seat backs are in the full upright and locked positions... "

My BHAF does not whistle from turbo noise, I went to this from the Amsoil filter and I really heard it with that one but now I can barley hear it.

cheers, Kevin

Thats what I'm waiting for Amsoil to come out with one. Heck there TS106 might fit the 03. I think I will have to take the one out of sons 99 and see if it fits. Will do that this weekend(I'm off if anybody cares:D )if I don't forget.

I did a search on the Fleetguard site a few days ago and nothing turned up. Sure don't want to by it from DC.
