I just installed the AEM Power Brute intake on my 02. Spent a couple of days out in the desert blazing trails and took it off at the end to check. No dust on the filter and no dust in the tube either. I'd say it worked really well. I'm adding power this week, so it will be a good test to see how it works. They say it is rated to 1100 cfm.

Diesel Power Magazine tested them all and guess who won... ... .....

nobody.

It boils down to personal preference. The stock intake manifold doenst care how big your air filter is. For that matter the stock filter performed as well as the rest of the aftermarket. :-laf

People kill me not wanting to spend a little extra money on upgrades. They'd rather spend less money on something that may not do the job as one that is a little more. How much is an intake system compared to a Cummins engine? Even though the intakes aren't $500. 00... that still looks like chump change when you are replacing the Cummins.

The old saying is true a lot of times... "You get what you pay for".

Shortly after I got my 05, I installed an Airraid Jr w/MIT and am pleased with it.

Is anyone using either a TAG or TAG 2??

If so, how well does it work??

I have the AEM brute force intake with a PG 7 filter and I know some people frown on the pre filters, but have a Air aid pre filter. I have LOTS of turbo whine and it feeds my SPS 62 pretty good... :-laf
