I got my Hadley Bully's through Camping World last year as a Christmas present and still haven't found time to install them :(

"sounds just like a big rig"

Don't want to turn this into a transmission thread, but IMO, the Grovers have more of a big rig sound. IMO, Hadleys are higher pitched and more shrill. Either way, they are both loud and worth the money.

BIG BAD DODGE,

I'm down in So Cal, If you want come on by and I'll help install those bad boyz. Got a set on my truck, one great bomb! :D

I just purchased another set of Hadley Bully's from Camping World for my new ride!

Hadleys are definately have a higher pitch and are more shrill and they are also louder that the Grovers. I did a side by side test with Papa Joe and his Grovers. The Grovers do sound more like a Big Rig.

Casey, I would love to take you up on that offer but I am awaiting a new 5 gallon tank, and a larger 100% duty cycle compressor. I am going to use the larger tank and compressor for the air horns, the rear air bags, and the arb locker. One stop shopping :D

Dan at Rickson told me that DUAL 1609's are the ticket to shaking the earth when you honk. I bought a set of marine hadleys on Ebay for $75 complete with pump, tank and horns. They sound fantastic. I just put a set of Hadleys on my wifes Jeep Wrangler, I have no idea what they are but they have a very deep sound.

Grovers Vs. Hadleys

To the person posting that Hadleys are louder... were they at the same pressure?

I ask because we have done numerous test with different DB meters on three different types of horns. Grover Stuttertone Emergency Service, Hadley "Emergency service" (yeah right), and Buell Emergency Service.

In each and EVERY test the Grovers were MUCH MUCH louder and deeper than either of the other two. The Buells are way too high pitched with the Hadleys being a little lower than the Buells.

All these horns were on the SAME truck with identical pressure switch settings.

We noe spec nothing but Grover Stuttertone Emergency Svc horns on all our fire apparatus now. We rig them on an alternating solenoid. The two horns have a slightly different pitch and they alternate at 3 blasts/ second.

DEFINATELY moves traffic. Either they move, or their ears bleed. These coupled with 200 watt electronic siren and Federal Q2B will make people cry. I absolutely love coming up to some jacka** that feels he doesnt have to move in his polished Mercedes convertible. All it takes is stepping on the two foot buttons (horn and Q) and he will run his high dollar car into a brick wall to get away. Makes us die laughing every time!!!

MAN I love my job!!!

Installed a set of Hadley Bully`s about a year ago, absolutely awesome! They definitely move the traffic when your CUMMIN through!:D
