Where did you locate the Air Horn, Tank and Air Compressor on your 3rd Gen? I think I have a place for the Tank, but the actual horn and air compressor really have me stumped. I didn't have a problem on my 2nd Gen finding a place under the hood for the Hadley setup.

on my o3 I put the tank and compressor in tool box in the bed and the air horns under the air dam/bumper facing each other

I mounted my two freightliners underneath the cab along side the rocker panels.

You can see some of the details in my "reader's rig" photos... ;)

I did the same and put the tank under the tool box and compressor in it. Not for everybody but the train horns (real) went in place of the spare tire due to the size.

Nice horns; where did you get them???

Nice setups. I have my Viair 460C compressor and 3 gallon aluminum tank, and I've been trying to figure out where to install them.

Greg, I noted in your sig about buy american and keeping americans employed. What are you getting at? Where was your truck built? Mine was built in Mexico, but my Honda Accord was designed and built in Ohio.

my horns are mounted onder my airbox pointing straight down. my tank is around a 5 gal tand hung from my exhaust mounts in the place of my muffler. (I have stacks) and my compressor is mounted in the bed on the forward bulkhead above the stack crossover.

You know, he's right! So was my truck! In fact, I ran outside to look and five Mexican-lookin' fellers ran out from under it. 'Spose they've been hiding there the last 60,000 miles? Come to think about it, it'd be a way to avoid getting wet.

Shut my mouth ...

I would like horns, but want electric ones. Has anyone installed these, and where to purchase.

You can find these on eBay, but they will not sound anything like a truck sized air horn... . ;)
