Just got new air horns from ricksons, looking for ideas where to mount things. was thinking about mounting compressor and tank in tool box. any suggestions? mike

What brand are they? I have the hadleys which have a pretty small tank and compressor. I mounted them under the hood on the drivers side on the fender well. Your truck my not have room there but mine did and it worked out well.

AIR HORN

I WENT TO THE TRUCK BONE YARD AND GOT THE HORN AND TANK. I BOUGHT AN ELECTRIC, 12 VOLT COMPRESSOR, THE BIGGEST AT THE LOCAL PARTS STORE. AIR HORN IS MOUNTED UNDER THE CAB OTBD OF THE FRAME, UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT. THE AIR TANK AND COMPRESSOR ARE INBD OF THE FRAME JUST FWD OF FUEL TANK. I HAVE FITTINGS AT THE BACK OF THE CAB, LEFT SIDE THAT I CAN USE TO AIR UP THE TANK AND OR TO INFLATE MY AIR BAGS OVER THE REAR AXLE. THE HORN IS ACTUATED BY THE TRUCKS STEERING WHEEL HORN. WIRE IS CONNECTED AT THE HORN LEFT FRONT. THE COMPRESSOR SWITCH IS UNDER THE DASH NEXT TO PARKING BRAKE, WITH A CIRCUIT BREAKER. SOMETIMES WHILE I'M DRIVING I FORGET TO TURN OFF THE COMPRESSOR, THE BREAKER WILL POP, IT IS NEXT TO THE SWITCH. THAT TRUCK AIR HORN DOES GET THEIR ATTENTION. HAPPY NEW YEAR AND HAPPY TRUCKING. I plan to mount twin Grovers on the roof. Could someone give me some tips on pulling back the headliner?
