Air Hose

I am getting the parts ready to plumb my air horns. I have a 50' section of 3/8" air hose and was wondering if I could use that to connect the tank to the horns and the tank to the compressor???

All of this stuff except the compressor will be mounted under the truck. All the hoses will be secured to the frame so that it will not rub...

why not? if you can get compression fittings that will work with that hose, use them. if not barbs and double hose clamps will work fine. .

I was able to get one of those air tanks from a truck store for $35. This is the one that they mount on the side of the frame and its heavy duty. The shop messed up and had 10 of them that they did not need. Its just the size that I was looking for. .

Now all I need to do is get all the other stuff to put my system together. One of the bigger ticket items is the compressor.
