Air in fuel pressure guage?

Ok how do you bleed the air out of the fuel pressure guage after the isolator/

I'd open one end of the isolator (the end farthest from the fuel port) and turn on the lift pump for several seconds. Close the isolator off before turning off the lift pump.

Doesn't that end have to filled with glycol or the like? I don't think a tiny air bubble will be an issue at all. The anount the air can compress is so small, it should not be a factor.
