2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Air Lift bags & overloads ?

Has anyone installed Air Lift bags on a 2-wd 3500 ? Is it necessary to remove the overload leafs to install the bags properly or will they fit ok? Your knowledge is needed and appreciated ! thanks, Ponz

I had a set of bags on a 97 3500 4x4. They bolted right on. I didnt have to remove the overload springs. I had a utility body on the back of the truck that was very heavy (full of tools). I would get another set. worked very well.

We put a set on a friends 01 3500 2 wheel drive with no problems. Fit good and rode like a dream empty with 10# of pressure.

I have them on my truck in signature and love them. I added an onboard compressor and in cab control. I found this summer with the fifth wheel attached, the truck rides better with 25 or so lbs in the bags. They were a must have item when I had a 12ft slide in camper also. No mods necessary to install them.
