air noise at heavy load

I have a noise coming from the pass floorboard under heavy load pulling my 5er. Sounds like air leaking, loud hiss. When let up on the pedal it goes away. It has to be related to the turbo. I disconected my Quadzilla XZT and it still make the noise. Could it be the wastegate? Where does it dump? I cannot duplicate unless towing up a hill. So the dealer is no help.

Check the rubber hose connectors from the turbo to the intercooler. See if they are loose or ruptured. Are you noticing any power loss? Hows your aircleaner element?

If it's leaking much you should see some increase in EGTs under those conditions too. . how does your boost pressure look? Any sign it's lower than normal?
