air noise at heavy load

Do you see any difference between the old OE and the new OE cooler? I am thinking about buying an aftermarket cooler if they won't warranty my cooler. They seem to run between $500 and $1700. I'm not interested in having the problem again, my truck only has 31,000 on it and I don't hot rod it. I don't remember ever seeing the boost go over 30 and my trailer weighs a tad over 10,000. Plastic, thats just brilliant in something that has hot pressurized air in it.

THe new one has welded tanks. Much improved. Dodge knows they have a problem with the plastic tanks. When a dealer stocks an item like that you know they replace the coolers alot.
