Air on Feet at all times

I have a small, but noticible, ammount of air blowing on my feet when I have the controll set to vent or recirculate.

Took it in to the dealer as I am still under warranty and they replaced the evap housing.

Got the truck back and it is still doing this.

I assume this is not normal ... is this assumption correct?



Anyone experience this?

Do some research on "blend door" others may chime in

Could be the mode door also, the servos are known to strip and not function normally.

Belgrath04's truck is an '07, should he not have the upgraded part's already??



When did they redesign the blend doors and servos? I'm having the same problem, just a slight breeze on the feet (I know I have the old design parts). I just thought the issues with the blend doors were a lot more significant.

Regardless, I took it in to the dealer (still under warranty) and they replaced the evap housing.

Got the truck back and not only did this not fix the problem, air still blowing on feet, but when I set it to blow on my feet it now also blows out the defrost vents.

Guess back to dealer.

Thats the mode door that is not working right. Mine does the samething, its the servo that is stripped out. That mode door controls the feet and defrost settings. The door in the horizontal position (UP) closes off the defrost and in the vertical position (DOWN) it closes off the feet. The problem is that the servo motor is stripped where it conects to the door and it will not lift the door to close off defrost mode.
